2003 Donations

On Monday October 20, 2003, French Dressing Jeanswear and Grandview Marketing International presented a cheque for $24,928.75 to the Cancer Centre Foundation. This ceremony was held at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, Metropolitan Campus. On Friday October 24, 2003, French Dressing International and Grandview Marketing International presented a cheque for $46,296.75 to the Windsor Region Cancer Centre Foundation, for the Digital Mammography Fund. This presentation occurred at the Steel Ball, at the Ciociaro Club. This International Paddle for the Cure also awarded $10,000 in July 2003 to four participating breast cancer survivor teams ($2,500 each) to take back to their home communities and cancer centres. Recipients included: Knot A Breast (Hamilton), Breast Buddies (Chatham), Rowbust (London – and they matched the $2,500 as a donation to the local cancer centre), and Hope Chest (Buffalo, New York).
